Malei is a premium Indian skincare house built by two cousin sisters. The brand launches with pregnancy because that’s where the problem was lived firsthand, but Malei is built on a single conviction: skin science doesn’t change with age — only the formulation does. They began Malei the night the name arrived — a Hindi word for the precious top layer of milk, pronounced identically in German.

Divya lived through two German pregnancies with access to world-class maternity skincare — and saw firsthand what was missing back home. She leads MALEI’s formulations, obsessing over barrier science, ingredient purity, and textures that feel like silk.
